We use UTC as a single standard for all login alerts. This ensures consistency and avoids confusion, as we do not know the local time zone of the device you are using to log in.
If you receive a login alert, the time shown will always be in UTC. You can compare it with your own local time by adding or subtracting the time difference for your region. For example:
UK winter time (GMT): UTC and local time are the same.
UK summer time (BST): Local time is UTC +1 hour.
If you notice an alert at a time when you weren’t logging in (after converting from UTC to your local time), we recommend immediately freezing your account and contacting our customer service team.
