You can change your Nominated Account at any time with Raisin UK online banking .
That being said, certain requirements must be met for the change to be successful.
Requirements for the new Nominated Account
- The account is in your name
- Joint accounts are permitted if you are one of the account holders
→ A mere power of attorney is not sufficient - The account is held with a bank, electronic money institution or building society in the UK
- The address attached to the bank account must match the registered address with Raisin UK.
- This is not a company account
- This is not a National Savings and Investment Account
How to change your Nominated Account
via the Raisin Website
- Log in to your Raisin Account
- Go to your initials in the top right hand corner
- Select “Customer Details”
- Under the 'Nominated Account', click on 'Change your Nominated Account'
- Then Click 'Request Email'
via the Raisin App
- Log in to your Raisin Account
- Click the cogwheel icon (⚙️) at the bottom right.
- Scroll down and click 'My Data'
- Under the 'Nominated Account', click on 'Change your Nominated Account'
- Then Click 'Request Email'
Process for changing the Nominated Account
- You will receive an email to your registered email address with a confirmation link. The link is valid for 30 minutes
- After confirmation, enter the details of the new account
- To confirm the change, you’ll receive an mTAN sent to your registered mobile number
- An automated confirmation of payee check is done in the background.
- Processing can take up to 5 business days. (Note: Our customer service department cannot expedite processing times)
- Until the final change, payments will continue to be made to the previous nominated account
- After completion, you will receive a confirmation

In individual cases, it may be necessary for our customer service to contact you by phone for verification.
- No alternative account numbers are requested
- No links are sent
- You can recognise our customer service by the official phone number
To view the progress of the change or cancel the request in the online banking:
- Under “Customer details” you can see at any time how far the change has progressed
- As long as the new Nominated Account is not yet active , you can cancel the process there at any time
